Arnis Promotional Hype

This was part of an American newspaper article.  I thought it very “humourous”.  I won’t have said such things.  Maybe,  a gun would be more advisable under such circumstances?  

"It's a very deadly art form," instructor (name withheld) said. "If you are versed in escrima and have sticks with you, you can easily hold off 10 to 12 men."
