Yuli Romo is another of Tatang Ilustrisimo's earliest students,  and together with other senior students of Tatang,  such as Tony Diego and Romy Macapagal etc.,  have achieved levels of profieciency to be regarded as maestros of the art.  Guro Romo has his own distinctive flavour in movement.   Since the passing away of Tatang Ilustrisimo,  he has been spending much time away from Manila,  and encountering various masters of vague styles in the remote provinces.
