Why Should People Attend Yellow Bamboo Teachings When They are Already Available Freely in the Internet?

Yellow Bamboo has provided Level 1 free of charge on the internet as a gift to everybody.  In this way,  we think this might benefit some people who practise a little mantra, pranayama and physical exercises.  This is our present for you.

Making Level 1 available to everybody worldwide also helps to introduce Yellow Bamboo practices so that people may know about Yellow Bamboo and if they are interested to follow it up,  they may contact a regional Yellow Bamboo teacher in order to be initiated into the path of Yellow Bamboo.  

Of course,  for those have studied spiritual teachings,  the most important part of the teachings is the initiation (which in Yellow Bamboo,  is called  “pasupati”) which is impossible to give via a video clip.  The pasupati gives life to the teaching.  It is the transmission of power, without which the teaching is empty, lifeless, and good for academics only. 

The pasupati must be conferred by somebody who has the power  or  the transmission of the pasupati.  It is an unbroken line of power.  This is similar to, for example,  in the Roman Catholic Church's 7 Sacraments.  Watching and performing the act of the 7 Sacraments does not have the power, nor legitimacy,  of the 7 Sacraments.  You can not make a priest, bishop, cardinal or pope via a video program.  It must be done physically!!!   

This goes back to some people asking why or how can Yellow Bamboo train students acquire the power or feats so quickly?  The exercises are definitely very much the same as many other exercise (as verifiable by the free videos).  The pranayama is similar to many yogic and chi kung systems as well.  Therefore,  from the physical point of view,  there is not much difference between Yellow Bamboo and numerous other systems.  But the effectiveness of the path and the fast delivery of results is astounding!  This shows that there is something non-physical that is responsible.  That is the genuine transmission or the pasupati that is conducted PHYSICALLY for the students by a lineage holder of the transmission.  

The pasupati is videoed and shown in the videos.  But it has no power to confer.  Conferal takes place during the actual pasupati.  Even for the pasupati,  we have to ask Pak Serengen for permission and to give the time and place of the pasupati,  and the names of the students who are attending.  It is not a matter of simply imitating what is on the video  -  it has no effect!  

Therefore,  performing the pasupati is the 1^st "teaching" program of my seminar

“Pasupati”  is performed at every entry to any Yellow Bamboo level that is conducted by any authorised Yellow Bamboo teacher.  Therefore,  one is advised to attend the seminars and courses.

Before performing a pasupati,  I inform at least Pak Serengen, Alvin Donovan, Pak Sudi and Pak Suardana for assistance.  I am not the sole performer!  Therefore,  without having received pasupati,  and having trained in Yellow Bamboo under an authorised yellow Bamboo teacher,  and having received expressed permission from Pak Serengen,  please do not perform the pasupatis,  thinking that you have been initiated into the different levels of Yellow Bamboo,  because your pasupati has no effect.  You are only deluding yourself,  and you do not have any attainments. 

In short,  practising the mantra, pranayama and exercises from the free videos may give some benefit,  to obtain the full benefit of Yellow Bamboo,  one should learn from a Yellow Bamboo teacher who has been authorised from the Yellow Bamboo headquarters in Bali.  

Note:-  Most teachings now take the form of seminars which disseminate, teach and demonstrate the Level,  and in intensive practice/training sessions in which the teacher practises with the students, corrects them and tries to ensure they are able to practise correctly by themselves.  The intensive practice/training sessions also enable the teacher to evaluate whether the student is ready for the next level.
