Why I went all the way to Bali to receive Yellow Bamboo teachings

I have come from a background in martial arts, healing, and spiritual disciples for more than 30 years,  during which I have used (and wasted) huge amounts of money and time studying many systems and attending courses that either do not deliver what they promise  or at best are harmless little toys and distractions.  Because of this,  I am a natural sceptic of spiritual disciplines and popular world-trotting masters,  especially the new age type.  

Also because of much disappointing,  and sometimes disgusting experiences,  I try to ensure that I get to the top guy,  or the source as much as possible.   This is why I went to Bali in September & October 2004 to learn Yellow Bamboo and receive further teachings to heal, protect self and others from psychic attack, physical attack and much more.  I wanted to receive the blessings of the masters in Bali and Java.  I spent 28 days there,  and had wonderful discussions with different practitioners.  During that time,  I also attended the 10 day Yellow Bamboo intensive teacher training programme.

Just as I had sought out effective styles and teachers of martial arts (eg., Tatang Ilustrisimo of Kalis Ilustrisimo, Masters Yap, Lu and Chok of Cheng Man Ching Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan), I sought out what I can of Indonesian/Balinese mysticism.

Yes, I spent a lot of money. Interestingly, more money is spent on ‘the other things’ than the actual ‘visible cost’.

But it was worth it as I was learning from the proper people, and not second-hand, or second-raters, or fakes and cons. I can be assured of pedigree.
