Lajin (La Jin) Fa is the method of stretching the tendons and ligaments of the body in traditional Chinese medicine, healthworks, martial arts and yoga (qigong, taoyin) for hundreds of years.

When practised wisely and regularly, Lajin Fa is widely known to help alleviate aches, pains, numbness, discomfort, inflexibility, frozen shoulders, elbow pain, lumbar pain, knee pain, hip pain, inability to bend down, weak waking gait,  as well as many ailments such as fatigue, irregular or painful menstrual problems, male impotency problems, headaches, etc.

Lajin helps in:   Restoring flexibility and movement.  Alleviate aches and pains.  Helps with frozen shoulders and tennis elbow.  Difficulties and slowness in walking.

Knee pain,  Hip pain,  Lumbar pain,

Lajin is usually practise in conjunction with Paida and Qi Gong.

Caution:  Pregnant ladies should avoid Lajin therapy.  The elderly and very weak should practise Lajin gently but consistently and regularly, progressing in intensity gradually.

What do we stretch in Lajin?

We stretch the tendons and ligaments of our groin/crotch (“Gua”), inner thighs, popliteal fossa, hamstring, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, wrists, neck, chest, shoulder blades,  etc.

Lengthening, unblocking and activating the blocked, weak, shortened, atrophied, tendons in these parts will help restore them to health, give comfort, restore ease of movement, alleviate aches and pains, and help heal various ailments.
