Introduction

Aim:  Introduce student to Tai Chi Chuan via the easy and convenient method of Easy Tai Chi.

Beginner Level   

Aim:  Establish a proper foundation in Tai Chi Chuan via correct postures, movements and principles using both the traditional Yang and Wu Styles of Tai Chi Chuan.   The modern forms of Beijing24, Beijing48 and International42 do not adhere to the classical Tai Chi Chuan principles because they were created for recreation, art, and exercise. 

 

Beginner I

Aim:  Deepen student’s understanding of the Tai Chi forms by practising the meaning and application of the movements.  It is only by repetitious practice of the individual martial arts applications (Shan Zao) that one may understand the postures, movements and their requirements.

Aim:  To exercise the channels and sinews and to develop Internal Power in order to generate powerful strikes and withstand blows to certain parts of the body.
